I want to help you feel better.

We’ll work together to accomplish your goals.

A passion for serving others

I work with adults, children, and families to address trauma, PTSD,

toxic stress, depression, anxiety, grief, loss, maladaptive behaviors, foster care, adoption, sexual abuse, negative family patterns,

and adjusting to life changes.

Our histories

I am especially interested in how our histories impact our current functioning and decision-making.

My focus

I focus on root causes instead of surface-level solutions. Understanding individual and family patterns helps us successfully navigate our lives.

Resilience

I am endlessly fascinated by our stories and the determination and resilience of the human spirit.

Teamwork

We are a team working towards your empowerment and improved functioning. We are in this together.

My approach

My approach is direct, compassionate, thorough, supportive and strengths-based. I focus on what happened to you, how it impacted you, and how you can change and improve.

Empathy

Choosing therapy can be intimidating. I understand how important the therapist-client connection is.

A Little About Me

I’ve been a social worker since 2001. I have a master’s degree in social work and a clinical license (LSCSW). I’ve worked as a therapist in a psychiatric facility since 2021. This in-patient experience has exposed me to a variety of diagnoses, experiences, and stressors that have informed my practice and increased my competence. I am certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy and am being trained in Adoption Competency through Foster-Adopt Connect. I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills often in practice and find that they are practical for a wide variety of needs.

Hours

  • I schedule mostly in the late afternoon/early evening.
  • I understand busy schedules and we will work together to find what works best for us.
  • I’m located in Eudora, Kansas. I can accommodate telehealth appointments.

Pricing

  • I contract with Aetna, United and Medicaid insurance plans

Therapy is a gift. It is a chance to finally be

heard, understood, and supported.
